Best Mom Jobs!

Someone emailed me asking if they could be a guest poster on this site. They were from a college website. So, I have been thinking about doing a story on the best mom jobs and I asked her to have a go at it. I really want you to "comment" on the best mom jobs. Do you have one? Do you know of one? Thanks in advance! I get this question ALL THE TIME and it's a tough one!
Here are the 100 best companies according to Working Mother's Magazine.

The Perfect "Mom" Job

In an ideal world, the working mom could spend quality time raising their kids and have a wonderful career that paid great and allowed them to work whenever they had time. In the real world, kids usually get the stressed out, underpaid mom who comes home, throws together a (hopefully) healthy dinner and answers e-mails in between getting the kids ready for bed and school. The good news is, if you are looking, there are a few careers out there that pay pretty well and offer flexible hours, here's what I found:

1. Freelance writing- Of course, being a mom and freelance writer, I recommend this job highly. Some jobs pay better than others, but once you get your foot in the door, it becomes easier to weed out the good jobs from the lower paying ones. Whether it is writing, editing, web development, blogging, whatever you choose, freelancing has the most flexible hours of just about any career and you can set your own schedule.

2. Teaching- If you have school age kids, this is the perfect job for you, especially in the college and private school sector. You don't need a degree to be a teaching assistant or office receptionist, so don't eliminate this option if you don't have a degree. Great pay and benefits, along with a similar schedule as your kids makes working at a school a super fit for you and your family.

3. Home based businesses- From day cares and cleaning services to dog walking and errand running, there are several easy start up jobs that anyone can begin basically overnight. With virtually no investment, you can take care of your kids for free and make upwards of $2,500 per kid, per year with an at-home day care.

4. Internet jobs- Data entry and affiliate marketing jobs from home can be done at all hours and don't require a degree. These jobs are always available and easy to learn.

5. Physical Therapy- With flexible hours, no night schedule and some self employment opportunities, being a PT pays between $50,000 to 105,000 per year.

6. Civil Engineers- Long deadlines, little stress and great pay make this easy to find job and a great way to make money without sacrificing family time.

7. Massage Therapy - Making your own hours, making good money and making people happy sounds like ideal career and is! Massage therapy can easily bring $40,000 a year as long as you don't rub your clients the wrong way
